They were recorded using a Sony NH-700 digital sound recorder and a pair of mics I built from a stereo audio cable and mic capsules. These sounds are best listened to with headphones. This was probably the only motorcyclist I saw in the park the whole time I was there. You can hear kids playing in the park and girls playing with their dog. There was a man hitting the tennis ball against the wall on the courts. There was a swing-set nearby, which you can also hear in this clip. I was near a kite stand and there were many people flying kites that day. The kites were making a buzzing noise since it was so windy outside. You can often find people utilizing the kite stand at this beach.
